Joining ABA is a direct investment in the regulatory environment in which your company will operate. Philanthropic foundations are invited to contribute $20k–$100k toward establishment and evidence workstreams.

Can international organisations join?: Yes — ABA welcomes members from any country. Our work spans African markets but our membership is open to producers, investors, technology providers, and institutions operating globally.
What does a Founding Member seat entail?: Founding Members hold a seat on ABA's steering committee, co-develop the advocacy and standards agenda, and receive priority access to investment roadshows and DFI introductions.
When does membership begin?: Membership begins upon receipt of your completed application and confirmation from the ABA team. Founding membership closes once the founding cohort of 4–5 members is filled.
What is the difference between Full and Affiliate membership?: Full Members contribute financially and receive access to ABA's research, DFI network, and working groups. Affiliate membership is free and designed for non-commercial actors such as research institutions, NGOs, and government bodies.
